The Hire of both Motorhomes and Vans is Comprehensively Insured by Royal and Sunalliance Insurances on behalf of F.N.R Motorhome Hire.

Hirers are responsible for the first £500.00 Excess in the event of any Claim for accidents in the UK and the first £750 for travel into EEC (including Ireland).

The Vehicle is only Insured for the contract period, therefore driving of the vehicle beyond this period may result in the driver committing a traffic offence. The Vehicle must be returned to the collection site at the time specified. Hirers will be charged for returning vehicles after the Insurance has expired. Please allow adequate time for your journey, include time for road works and traffic Jams !

The Hirer is entirely responsible for accidental damage, injury and consequential loss after the expiry of the hire period.

Insurance shall at all times Exclude personal possessions of the Hirer and their Party.

We highly recommend Hirers purchase their own holiday travel insurance.

Insurers acting on behalf of FNR Motorhome Hire cannot offer Insurance Damage Waiver to reduce the excess amounts at this time.

Hirers are not permitted to tow anything behind their Hire Vehicle without the express permission of FNR MOTORHOME HIRE.

A limited number of our Vehicles have a tow bar suitable for pulling a Trailer max laden weight of 1 tonne.

However any item towed behind our Vehicle will NOT be Insured by FNR Motorhome Hirer or Insurers acting on their behalf.

We strongly advise that Hirers provide their own insurance to cover the value of both the trailer and its contents.

FNR Motorhome Hire may require a Cover note to confirm this cover has been provide by the Hirer prior to release of any vehicle.

Please advise the member of staff at the time of your initial booking , if you would like a vehicle with a tow bar. All Vehicles are subject to Availability.

FNR Motorhome Hire can purchase additional AA 5* Breakdown Cover for your trailer if travelling to EEC or Ireland as an additional Cost. Please ask for a quote.

DRIVERS should be over 25 years and under 71 years of age , of Good health, and of Held a FULL UK driving licence for at least 3 years.

The Licence should be free of endorsements.

The driver cannot of been involved in more than 1 accident within the last 3 years.

Insurance may be given outside of these restrictions, however this will be subject to Authorisation and the Insurance Company will charge an additional daily premium cost to the hirer.

Example for

- Younger Drivers aged 21yrs - 24yrs

- Older Drivers aged 72yrs - 75yrs

- More than 1 accident

- Points and Convictions

Staff at our Aldershot office hold a tariff chart for levels of points and convictions , please ask for more details.

Persons with serious convictions within the previous 10yrs may not be permitted to drive the vehicles.

- NON UK / Foreign and International Licences

Visitors from abroad are advised to obtain an International Driving Licence. An additional £3.00 per day will be charged for International and NON UK Driving Licence Numbers (Restrictions on some countries may apply)

Additional Drivers may be included on the Insurance at a charge of

£10.00 per Day UK travel

£15.00 per day European Travel.

Additional Drivers are also subject to the Criteria Above and to additional charges by the Insurance provider for any convictions , Points , Accidents , younger or older driver premiums and NON UK Licences.

ALL NOMINATED DRIVERS will be require to produce the following

Identification for the hire of Vehicles at the commencement of Hire.

New style Plastic Card Driving Licences - FNR Motorhome Hire will require Hirers to produce Both the Counter Part Green Paper section and the Plastic Card.

AND

Dated within the last 3 months. For the HOME address of Each Driver

Electricity / Gas / Water / Council Tax /

Bank or Credit Card Statement / Telephone Bill (Not Mobile Phones)

Mandatory Requirement for All Hires to EUROPE or IRELAND

Or For Drivers with NON UK Licences

FNR Office Staff will request that copies of this identification be sent approx 4 weeks prior to hire of your vehicle .

This is to prepare Insurance and other documents in advance of collection, saving your valuable holiday time !

European Insurances / VE103 Log Book certificates for EEC Travel can take several days to arrive through the post.

If Photographic Identification is not available FNR Motorhome Hire reserves the right to take a head and shoulder style photograph of the hirer at the time of collection by a designated member of FNR staff ,to endorse the insurance form.

An initial Booking DEPOSIT of £100.00 for each week of hire will be required at the time of booking.

Bookings made less than 4 weeks before the hire will need to be paid for IN FULL at the time of booking.

Credit / Debit cards are accepted for Telephone bookings.

The booking form and deposit payment if payment is being made by CHEQUE must be received within 3 working days of any provisional booking to secure the dates and vehicles required. After this time any provisional booking agreement will cease and the dates/ vehicles put back onto the system.

Bookings are not secured until payment of the deposit has been received.

FNR Motorhome Hire staff will NOT 'HOLD' any vehicles with out a confirmed deposit.

During busy periods i.e. for festivals and sporting events, vehicles will be hired out on a �efirst come, first serve�f basis.

All booking deposits received will be regarded as an acceptance of the FNR Motorhome Hire terms and Conditions of Hire .

Hirers are advised to read these Terms and Conditions thoroughly before making a booking.

The BALANCE ( Total Hire cost ,less Deposit) will become payable 30 days prior to the commencement of the Hire.

A SURCHARGE of £2.50 will be applied to all BALANCES Paid by CREDIT CARD

( Visa / Mastercard ) . Cheques should be made payable to �'FNR MOTORHOME HIRE'

Cancellations must be in writing , either by post or by e-mail.

Hirers choosing to cancel their agreement with FNR Motorhome Hire within 7 days of their initial booking will receive a full refund of any monies paid .

Otherwise the following cancellation charges will be incurred

Cancellation More than 8 weeks prior to departure - BOOKING DEPOSIT only.

Cancellation 6-8 weeks prior to departure - 50% of Total Hire Cost

Cancellation Less than 6 weeks prior to departure or No Show - 100% of Hire Cost.

FNR Motorhome Hire reserve the right to cancel the hire if at the commencement the nominated Driver�fs Licences are invalid or not in accordance with the conditions. In these circumstances all monies paid by the hirer will be forfeit to FNR MOTORHOME HIRE.

Whilst we make every effort to ensure that the Vehicle you reserve is available at the agreed time, if for any reason beyond our control, it is not available , we will endeavour to make another vehicle of similar size available.

For example in the event of a vehicle being returned damaged making it unsuitable for re-hire or the late return of the previous hirer. If however this is unacceptable to the hirer, or another vehicle proves unobtainable, FNR Motorhome Hire�fs liability is limited to the refund of any monies paid.

The company reserves the right to vary the rates and conditions of hire and to cancel or refuse to hire to any person without explanation or prior warning.

FNR MOTORHOME HIRE requires that a Valid Credit or Debit Card number with a signature for authorisation of its use be imprinted onto a voucher at the time of the vehicle collection.

Alternatively the hirer may leave a Cash deposit for the excess amount.

The Credit / Debit voucher or cash deposit will be retained in the company safe for the duration of the hire as security against damages to the vehicle whilst on hire.

The security Deposit will be returned or Credit / Debit Card voucher shredded within 7 days of the completion of the hire provided that the vehicle has been returned on time, clean, undamaged , fully fuelled, and with all equipment present.

Any damages , undue cleaning , refuelling , extra time or replacement costs will be deducted from the security card or cash deposit.

In the event of an accident where damages total LESS than the excess amount - FNR Motorhome Hire will obtain the correct parts to repair the damage and the cost of these parts will be deducted from the Security deposit.

In the event of an accident where the damage costs EXCEED the excess amount - FNR Motorhome Hire will retain the Cash Security Deposit in full or charge the excess amount to the Credit/ Debit Card.

In the event that the accidental damage was caused by a 3^rd party, FNR Motorhome Hire will retain the excess amount in a holding account until all Disputes / Claims have been settled. The monies will be returned upon payment by the insurers of the 3^rd party.

FNR Motorhome Hire reserve the right not only to retain this security amount but also to charge to the hirer�fs credit / debit card or to invoice the customer for any fines / penalties and administration costs which may arise whilst trying to recover such costs and which may take the total over and above the excess / security amount.

At the time booking , by choosing to travel with FNR Motorhome Hire the hirer is agreeing that they have read and understood the Terms and Conditions of Hire and are authorising FNR Motorhome Hire, the use of their Credit / Debit card number as a �ecard holder not present�f transaction for both the hire cost and for the claiming the security / excess amount and/ or damages due.

FNR Motorhome Hire will in return regard the security of customer�fs personal Data as paramount.

The Hire period commences at 2.00pm Saturdays and all vehicles must be returned between 10.30am and 11.00am on the agreed day of return.

Alternative collection and return times / days may be agreed subject to Vehicle availability.

Collection and return times will be agreed at the time of Booking.

Our Collection Site Staff are not on site every day.

They will remain on site for the allocated time slots for Vehicle collections or returns.

For arrival outside of your agreed times please telephone our office with 24hrs notice.

Vehicles returned late will incur a fine of £15.00 per 15 mins.

No refunds will be given for early returns.

All Vehicles are to be collected from our collection site off Junction 5 - M3, unless otherwise authorised.

Directions will be sent with booking conformation / balance paid receipts.

( N.B. Vehicles are no longer kept at our Aldershot Office - Administration only)

Meet and Greets can be organised from the Local British Rail Stations at either Hook or Alton, Gatwick / Heathrow / Southampton airports and local delivery or a Private Taxi can be arranged for an additional charge and subject to staff availability.

Hirers may park 1 car at the company collection site, FREE of CHARGE for the duration of the hire period, however parking is entirely at the owners risk.

Upon arrival at our collection site all hirers will be given a guided tour of their vehicle and its operational systems.

This will last approx 20 mins - 30 mins.

A hand book with pictures , covering everything explained on the tour will be available in each vehicle.

A mobile number to contact collection site staff directly for additional help if required will be available to all hirers.

The hirer shall NOT

- Drive or allow the Vehicle to be driven in excess of the legal speed limits.

- Allow the vehicle to be driven by any other person other than those whose licences have been

produced at the commencement of the hire and authorised by FNR Motorhome Hire.

- Lend or hire the vehicle to any third party.

- Create a lien on the vehicle for repairs or for any other reason.

- Tow any trailer behind the vehicle without having obtained the express written permission of FNR

Motorhome Hire prior to the hire.

- Carry any more than the maximum number of persons in the vehicle , that is no more than the

maximum number of sleeping berths.

- Take the vehicle off the English , Scottish or Welsh Mainland without the prior consent of FNR

Motorhome Hire.

The Hirer SHALL

- Lock the Vehicle at all times when left unattended and use any additional security measures i.e.

Steering Locks , where provided.

- Protect their security deposit by treating the vehicle with care and consideration, being mindful with

the facilities and using caution whilst parking and manoeuvring.

- Be aware of Height Restrictions.

- Settle all fines and penalties incurred during the term of hire.

In the event if a Breakdown or Accident , FULL AA Breakdown / Recovery service is at the disposal of the Hirer for all our vehicles.

Instructions for repairs or replacement of parts not exceeding £100 may be given by the hirer , who will be reimbursed in full upon the production of receipted invoices.

Approval from FNR Motorhome Hire must be obtained in respect of repairs/ replacements in excess of £100.

FNR Motorhome Hire will not be responsible for any hotel or other expenses subsequent to a breakdown ,nor will we be under any liability for third party claims or damages with any accident or breakdown.

FNR will however refund the hire charges for any complete days loss of use of the vehicle.

N.B The Automobile Association our breakdown / recovery provider, will not transport animals / pets.

In the event of an accident involving our hire vehicle the hirer shall notify FNR Motorhome Hire by telephone immediately after the event or as soon as practically possible.

In all instances an accident report form must be completed and handed to FNR upon termination of the hire.

If possible pictures and witness names and addresses should be taken as well as the Vehicle , name , address and contact details of each and every driver / vehicle involved.

Hirers security details may be held until any disputes have been settled.

On hires of 1 whole week or more, unlimited mileage will apply.

A Full tank of Fuel will be provided at the commencement of the hire. The vehicle MUST be returned with a Full tank of Fuel, if not a £5.00 charge Plus the cost of fuel needed to replenish the tank will be taken ( at the current charge per litre of the closest Service Station to the Collection site ) from the security Card Number / Deposit.

On Shorter breaks a limit of 200 miles per day will apply.

All Mileage there after will be charged at 10p per mile.

Hirers will be responsible for ensuring the correct type of fuel is used in their vehicle.

Any damage caused to our vehicle or any charges imposed by the AA , caused by the use of incorrect fuel type , will be at the expense of the hirer.

The hirer shall be responsible for maintaining the correct levels of engine oil and coolant whist the vehicle is on hire. To not do so may result in engine failure for which the hirer will be held responsible.

Any damage to TYRES however caused will be charged to the hirer. (includes puncture repairs)

Damage to the WINDSCREEN , resulting in windscreen replacement will be deducted from the Security Deposit as accident excess.

WINDSCREEN DAMAGE WAIVER INSURANCE may be purchased at the time of booking for £10.

The vehicle will be equipped with 2 x 7kg Calor Gas Cylinders.

The first full canister provided is included in the hire charge. Should additional gas be required this will be at the Hirers expense. Canisters should be exchanged at any good garage or campsite shop for the same type and size full canister.

Any Cylinder Lost or exchanged for non calor gas will be charged to the hirer.

FNR Motorhome Hire will NOT refund the cost of any unused Gas.

For longer Hires and for those wishing to travel in to the EEC Additional Full canisters may be purchased from FNR in advance of the hire at the current local cost for Calor gas.

The Hirer will be responsible for emptying the toilet and waste tank prior to returning their vehicle. Failure to do so will incur a charge of £30.

The on board water supply will be Full upon collection.

FNR do not recommend drinking from the onboard water supply, hence will not accept any liability.

FNR Motorhome Hire ACCEPTS PETS.

This must be by Prior arrangement as there are allocated vehicles for Pet owners and are therefore subject to availability.

COST = £40.00 (to cover valet charges)

Pets are not permitted on the soft furnishings, therefore pet owners are requested to provide their own Pet baskets / blankets.

FNR Motorhome Hire has a strictly enforced

NO SMOKING policy in all Vehicles and offices.

Any Offender will forfeit their security deposit in FULL.

Seat belts are provided in all of our Motorhomes and Hirers are advised to ensure all passengers are fastened whist travelling.

Children should be in the recommended child car seat or booster seat for their size/age/weight.

Hirers should bring their child / children�fs car seats with them.

Passengers are NOT Permitted to move about the vehicles or use any of the appliances whilst the vehicle is in motion.

In Dinette style Motorhomes, hirers should leave tables in the upright position whilst travelling.

Gas canisters should be in the OFF position.

Place all heavy items in under seat or garage lockers and secure all loose items before travel.

Use lockers and safety nets where applicable.

Windows in the habitation area of Motorhomes must be CLOSED whilst travelling.

Our Collection site is an industrial type site and has very large Vehicles moving around,

therefore children must be supervised at all times.

FNR will not be responsible for any personal items damaged , lost or stolen during your Hire.

FNR would advise Hirer�fs to take out their own Holiday Travel Insurance Policy to cover any Valuable Personal items they intend to take on their trip and for any Medical expenses.

FNR will not be responsible for any Possessions left behind OR for any costs involved in returning items, so please remember to take home all of your possessions at the end of the Hire !

Any items left behind will be disposed of 1 week after the end of the hire ,if unclaimed.
